Everybody has the same amount of time yet some people make far better use of theirs.
This time management workshop cannot show you how to make more time but this course will show you how to make better use of your time.
Successful people only work on the important tasks.
They strive to balance their time. Good time manager’s get more done, more effectively, more of the time because they are always working on what counts.
The workshop will focus on planning, prioritising/daily goals/reviewing progress, investigating time usage, identifying time robbers, controlling your time, coping with conflicting priorities and deadlines and setting action plans.
Change Management
Organisations have to create and sustain change process. This means being creative and innovative in order to keep the individuals motivated to take on the challenge.
Participants will learn how to be innovative in their approach to changing the roles and the work processes.
Strategies for Managing Change will be explored with a focus on key change mechanisms and implementation of such a process Resistance/Acceptance to Change and the barriers of change and dealing with different catalysts of change will be examined in detail.
The one-day workshop will focus on planning change in your department and examine:
- Choosing and implementing strategies
- Involving people Monitoring progress
- Predicting future changes
Personal Development
During this workshop, participants will be asked to complete the Belbin Questionnaire.
These are profiling tools that help participants understand their own personality and that of others.
This will help to identify all personality styles that go to forming a team.
Participants will be shown how to take charge of their lives and careers through effective goal setting.
They will learn about the importance of appraisals and how best to project themselves in a positive manner.
The workshop will challenge individuals to examine their true potential and will question:
- The effects of previous conditioning and challenge individuals to break out of old habits
- Understanding different personalities and their inter-relationships (Belbin Questionnaires), self-esteem, self-confidence and self-image.
- The importance of behaving assertively as a team member and dealing with difficult situations is key to understanding individual development and as part of the workshop individuals will be introduced to goal setting and appraise training.
